Traveling to New York City?

Thursday, July 23rd, 2009

This is a great time of the year to be traveling to New York City. There is so much to do and so much to see that a simple Blog does not even begin to do it justice.

First and foremost you will need a place to stay. Our favorite website that we use for reference to locate the perfect hotel or motel in NYC is to use www.new-york-motels.net. This site is set up to give you a capsule review of the amenities and location of all the best hotels in all the different locations around the city.

You will be able to search for lodging that is right in your budget and you can search for all areas such as Times Square Hotels, Battery Park, Tribeca, Soho, Lower Est Side, Greenwich Village, mid-town, up-town, the upper east side, the upper west side and so on.

Put a place that you would like to me near and a list of excellent hotels will be listed for you to select from. Once you find one that you are interested in there is an easy link or click on one of the ads to go right there and place your reservation.

Another great website to get some excellent ideas and to feel the pulse of the city is to check out: www.city-newyork.com. Here you will find New York City Events, maps, subway and bus line information, and even a calculator to estimate the cost of a taxi ride from one point to another.

Hope to see you in the crown of the Statue of Liberty and do enjoy your stay in the Big Apple.
